Usage:

* Both chips share the identical 209-pin BGA footprint, but their internal OTP power sequencing configurations differ slightly.

* For boards originally using MT6357CRV (like Redmi 6A, Oppo A1k, Oppo A5s, Samsung A10s), installing an exact MT6357CRV is strongly recommended to prevent charging issues or bootloops.

- Common Fault Symptoms & Motherboard Diagnostics:

* Completely Dead Phone (0.00A or Static 0.01A–0.02A Hang):

- Pressing power button draws 0.00A on DC power supply (open PWRKEY or missing 32.768 kHz clock) or stays frozen at 0.02A (shorted secondary LDO rail).

* Dead After Flash (Common on Redmi 6A & Oppo A5s):

- Handset dies during flashing with SP Flash Tool or box tools when heavy CPU read/write operations overload degraded internal buck MOSFETs inside MT6357CRV.

* Auto MediaTek USB Port (BROM Mode):

- Screen stays unlit, but connecting via USB to PC immediately enumerates as "MediaTek USB Port (COMxx)" because the CPU starts in emergency Boot ROM mode while RAM or eMMC memory rails are absent.

* Bootloop / Stuck on Brand Logo:

- Phone reboots at the logo due to voltage drops across the VCORE / VPROC buck inductors during CPU clock acceleration.

* Total Audio Loss:
